Here are list of products & ingredients required in preparation of sinju :
1 cup of sliced cabbage
1/2 cup of sliced lotus root
1/2 cup of water spinach
1/2 onion sliced
2 tbs of chopped coriander
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tsp crushed dry roasted peas
1/2 tbs of boiled kidney beans
1/2 tbs of roasted perilla powder
1 tbs of roasted gram flour
1 tsp of crushed roasted chilli flakes
1/2 tsp of salt
From above list of required Ingredients – peas, kidney beans, perilla powder and chilli flakes need to be roasted & crushed properly.
Before mixing up, fry the gram flour without oil on hot pan untill it turn into light brown color. And use it as mixer.
Simple Steps to prepare sinju in minutes :
step 1. Wash & clean up the thinly sliced cabbage and sliced lotus root.
step 2. Cut the 1/2 cup of water spinach into tiny piece of slice. Try to make it as thin as possible.
step 3. Using clean bowl or vessel, put all the ingredients on each over one by one. Kidney beans, perilla powder, gram flour and chilli flakes are recommend to put at end.
step 4. Now pour 1/2 table spoon of salt and mix up all the ingredients using clean hand. Your tasty sinju is ready to serve.
